Jay McGrath is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant. 

Before establishing McGrath Consulting 12 years ago Jay controlled the OHS arm of a major consulting organisation for 3 years. He has provided expert advice and service to clients in all types of industry throughout Australia.

He also spent the previous 4 years managing the Workers Compensation and OHS program for a self-insured major public company, and prior to that managing the Risk Management program for a major Waterfront employer.

His 30 plus years of experience in providing solutions spans a wide range of industries, and his experience in Workers Compensation, Injury Management and OHS, through both an insured environment, as well as senior management involvement in self-insurance programs is unsurpassed.

He has participated as an Insurer, an Employer and as a Consultant, where very few compatriots have the same full circle of experience. His ability to identify strategies to effectively structure an organisation to ensure that they pay no more premium than are legally required is second to none.

Jay has an approach to OHS Management that focuses on behavioral issues within an organisation, rather than a staid scientific approach. As a result, client organisations benefit from a well-embedded, durable OHS program that becomes a way of life.

Jay has a Master of Business Administration, with a major in Human Resources Management.

 

 

Robyn Beveridge joined McGrath Consulting in 2012 after working closely with us on behalf of clients whilst with a leading WorkSafe Agent.

Prior to her role as a Senior Case Manager, Robyn spent 6 years in a manufacturing environment, and as a result is well aware of the issues facing both employers and injured workers.

Robyn has successfully completed a Diploma in Personal Injury Management and manages the day to day claims and injury management issues for a number of clients.

Robyn adds further capacity to help solve your issues, or just simply provide some added support or an ear to run issues past. She will also utilise our network of Physiotherapists, Rehab Providers, Psychologists, Investigators and other service providers to provide a full range of linked strategies.

 

Michael Breen’s role is to assist clients with their of the day to day workplace issues such as inspection activities and risk assessments and assist in implementing any changes to their OHS Management program from time to time.

Michael has extensive experience in the Medical, Security and Hospitality industries.

Michael has a Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, and is based in Melbourne.
